18. May 2013: Bašta Jazz Bar

| June 12, 2013 | 0 Comments

A true hidden gem somewhere in the alleys of Belgrade – if you have no local advice it is almost impossible to find this place. But when you do, then you should make sure you plan some time to go there. The Bašta Jazz Bar is a stylish pop-up bar in the backyard of old, run-down houses which is pretty stylish, only open when the weather is nice, and hosts not only a cool crowd but also a couple of elderly guys playing jazz on their violins and hte like.

It is not only the nice music they are making which makes it so nice to go there – the place is just cool! The beer they serve there though is not that amazing (200.00 RSD).

Definitely one of my favourite places I discovered when in Belgrade – no way to book a table or the like, just make sure to arrive in time as they stop playing around midnight. Also, make sure to go there when you are in Belgrade! It rocks!
