1. August 2013: Restaurant Gasthaus Floß

| August 10, 2013 | 0 Comments

I have been eating a couple of times at the Gasthaus Flosz but I must say that they keep getting better. Starting with “iced pea soup (with mint and grape seed oil) which was absolutely refreshing and taste-intense.

Next was “marinaded prime boiled bio beef, young vegetables and cider vinegar”. The meat was fine, the vegetables were tasty – a sound dish.

For desert, a “black rapsberry sorbet with homemade rusk and marigold” (all courses together for EUR 11.90) was served. The sorbet was rich and the combination with the zwieback was providing the special crunchy effect.

Overall, you get great food for very, very fair prices – which also applies to the water (0,25L, EUR 2.40). The place is nice, the service is friendly and all in all you just get very good lunch here!
