18. August 2013: Restaurant Comida

| August 29, 2013 | 0 Comments

Again, Delinski.at proofed to be a valuable source of information – not only getting 30% off the dishes and drinks but also the restaurants listed there have so far been good. I started with a “Argentinean Angus Beef Tatar with rocket salad, butter and toast” (EUR 13.50, respectively EUR 9.45). The beef was tasty and aromatic and a rather fine portion too.

The “Yellow Fin Tuna with Avocado Fries, baby mangold and jalapeño-peach-salsa” (EUR 26.00, respectively EUR 18.20) was perfectly cooked so it was still rare inside and it was tasty. The avocado fries were not bad either but the jalapeño-peach-salsa really was a great combination for the tuna.

The place itself is located right at the Ring street so it is a bit noisy but besides that the atmosphere is actually pretty nice. The place is not only very nicely furnished inside but also has a comfortable area outside. The prices are very fair for the dishes but as well for the beverages (0,75L Römerquelle prickelnd, EUR 5.80 respectively EUR 4.06; 0,1L white wine Gritsch, EUR 4.90, respectively EUR 3.43; 0,1L Rioja Crianza, EUR 5.10, respectively EUR 3.57).

Last but not least, the service is friendly, helpful, dedicated and makes sure you get everything you need within appropriate time. Only the timing of serving the main dish for me and my company did not really work – I already had mine when she was still waiting. Still, overall, the place is great, good food, fair prices (especially if you book through Delinski.at and good service.
