6. September 2013: MS RheinCargo

To be entirely fair, I guess this experience is only limitedly replicable but then again it actually is – this evening I figured dining a different way would be a nice thing to do so we booked a cruiseship which obviously also served food – we went for the Mediteranean buffet (EUR 36.30 per person). The dishes were simple but actually surprisingly tasty at least I did not expecte them to be that tasty.

Atmosphere-wise there is definitely room for improvement given that the ship is somehow really non-decorated. The service is friendly, I must admit but then again having two people serving for a total of 70 people is probably just not enough, especially given you only have the 2dl beer glasses. In any case, the cruise up and down the Rhine was nice. Overall, I would probably not pick the same ship again but I must say it is a nice experience.
