4. October 2013: Ristorante Enoteca La Curia

| October 16, 2013 | 0 Comments

The Ristorante La Curia is a safe bet when you are in Acqui Terme – it is probably something like 10 years ago I have been at this place for the first time in my life and I must say, each time I come here I’m newly delighted about the atmosphere, the quality of the food and last but not least the great selection of different wines!

You can actually dine at the Ristorante La Curia in the evening but I can recommend you going there during lunch time – you do what most Italians do to enjoy lunch. Buy a glass of wine and help yourself at the bar with all the various incredibly tasty little snacks.

The guy is also the same guy for the last 10 years – and he is dedicated to his job, passionate about what he does and last but not least, friendly and helpful. Whenever you ask him to bring you another type of wine (e.g. with more structure) he walks up to the wine shop (which is basically the entrance of the La Curia), picks a bottle and opens it just for you (but you are just billed the price of a glass).

The place is very nice, very cramped, already looks nice from outside and you definitely get great value for money!

In case you are in Acqui Terme during lunch time, I can absolutely recommend you to go to the La Curia to enjoy a couple of small bites, do some shopping in the wine shop and last but not least enjoy a good glass of wine!
