25. April 2010: Café Paul @Tower of London

| April 26, 2010 | 0 Comments

The Café Paul is located right at the Thames river close to the Tower Bridge and is easily reachable by a little footwalk from the Tower Bridge along the river (beautiful!) or from the metro station “Monument” (Circle line and District line). Alternatively, you can also come close to it with the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) and get off at the “Tower Gateway” station.

The place itself isn’t too special besides for its location. It’s just a bar where you grab your drinks/food and sit down at one of the tables standing there. The view on the Tower Bridge and the Thames is marvelous and it’s the perfect place to relax a bit after a long walk over the bridge and the surroundings.

What you have to try when you’re there are the “Macaroons” (or as they are called in Switzerland “Luxemburgerli”).

The Bar Paul is the perfect place to relax a few minutes in the sun when you’re close to the Tower Bridge / Tower of London! And try the macaroons (it’s a must)!
