29. March 2014: Atmosphere Rooftop Lounge & Bar @ The Ritz Carlton
Although I have previously been living for approximately 14 months in Vienna, I have never heard about the Atmosphere Rooftop Lounge & Bar at the Ritz Carlton – but I must say I have missed out on something. The place is perfectly located at the inner ring of Vienna and when you reach the rooftop you are welcomed to an oasis of nice furniture and calmness. And let me tell you – the chairs are incredibly comfortable so you just sink in and want to stay there forever.
The view is not necessarily gorgeous but it makes you feel at peace with yourself and the world when you get to look over the city. The service is quite okay as the waiters are friendly but definitely not the quickest. But besides the fact that you need some patience they are caring and helpful. The prices are also pretty fair as a soft drink accounts for EUR 4.50, a Corona for EUR 6.00 and the “Sunshine Cobbler” for EUR 14.00.
I can absolutely recommend the Atmosphere Rooftop Lounge & Bar @ The Ritz Carlton – lovely place!
