27. June 2014: Fashion Show @ Museo Can Morey de Sant Marti Collection de Salvador Dali
This is not a “regular Dining Experience” – as it is on the one hand only limitedly connected to food and on the other hand it is definitely not replicable. I met a friend in Palma I saw last time about 2,5 years ago in Munich and he invited me to come along to the fashion show which was held in the Museo Can Morey de Sant Marti Collection de Salvador Dali.
The fashion which was shown was appealing …
… and provided something for the young, modern woman, her kids …
… and her partner. But what was more impressive than the fashion – at least in my opinion – although I absolutely liked the fashion, was the location. The museum has a large patio where everybody was sitting or standing and watching the models making their way down from the upper floor down the stairs into the patio.
If you have the chance to visit the museum, even if it is not in the framework of a fashion show but just as a museum, you should absolutely do it. It is a lovely experience, especially in the evening when it starts to get dark and the whole area is dimmed in light.
To sum it up, lovely place, great fashion – worth going, just for the atmosphere (but obviously also for the exposition).
