8. May 2010: Restaurant @Hotel Zofingen

| May 10, 2010 | 0 Comments

The Hotel Zofingen is located right to the city center of Zofingen, the Thutplatz. The hotel is already an established institution in Zofingen and looks nice from the outside. The inside looks also quite nice but what is – not design-wise – but otherwise absolutely nice is the patio outside in front of the hotel where you can sit in the sun and have a drink.

The service is somewhat mediocre as it takes them ages to actually bring you anything – menu, beer, food. Still, what must be said though is that the waitresses are very friendly and helpful – but awefully slow.

The menu is quite big and you have a variety of dishes to choose from – we went for the Schnitzel which was quite good and also big enough.

The minor shortcomming is the prices though – CHF 36.00 for a Schnitzel is somewhat expensive when you get beef filet of decent size and great taste at about the same price (or slightly above).
