12. July 2014: Caffe Bar Pjaca

| August 4, 2014 | 0 Comments

My first meal on Hvar was definitely not Croatian food but “Club Sandwiches with French fries” (80 KRN, approx. CHF 12.80) which was average. The amount of meat was generous but the quality was disappointing. On the other hand, the French fries were at least nicely crispy and not stroppy. If you are looking for a quick and hearty dish, the Caffe Bar Pjaca is the perfect place to go to. The service is limitedly attentive but generally speaking friendly.

I forgot my camera when leaving the place and got back to the restaurant about 30 minutes later – when I had asked the waiter for my camera he gave it to me right away but funnily enough had taken a couple of pictures with it. The place itself is rather simple but due to the fact that it is located on the main place and next to the harbour it is still somehow enjoyable. Overall, simple place for simple food.
