20. August 2014: Restaurant ViOR
The “BBQ Burger with bacon, coleslaw and French fries (190gr)” (CHF 25.00) was quite okay. The meat was fine but not exactly medium rare as requested. The bun was of a good consistency but a bit too soft and not really cripsy enough. The French fries on the other hand were quite good as they were crispy without being dry as they often are.
Overall, the menu is quite fine for CHF 25.00 for what you get as the burger has a certain size so you would definitely have enough for lunch. With regards to the prices for the beverages the same applies (0,5L water, CHF 5.00; double espresso, CHF 6.00) – quite fine. The place itself is actually quite nice in decoration and the service does quite a fine job. Overall, the Restaurant ViOR is a fine place to have lunch but nothing outstanding.
