23. September 2014: Cafe MAELU

| November 24, 2014 | 0 Comments

The “Fresh mint and ginger tea” (EUR 4.50) is the perfect way to relax after a hard day at Wies’n. It is aromatic, intense, and is served with fresh honey.

The “poppy seed mousse tartlet” (EUR 7.50) is not only looking incredibly nice but also tastes quite good – and I say that as someone who is not too much into sweets. The place itself is rather simple but decorated in an appealing way. The waitress was not only very friendly but competent – when I asked for a tartlet with white chocolate she directed me perfectly into the right direction so I would end up with a very likable tartlet.

Overall, the Cafe MAELU is a great place to enjoy a coffee, tea or tartlet – while downstairs there is a bakery, upstairs is the restaurant part which allows you to relax and enjoy.
