18. October 2014: Café Zurich

| December 19, 2014 | 0 Comments

After a long night, the Café Zurich is the perfect place to fetch a double espresso (EUR 2.90) and a “sandwich with anchovies & cheese” (EUR 5.50). The espresso is nicely strong, and the sandwich does the trick to balance off your stomach. Else, nothing worth going – although the café is located right next to the Plaça Catalunya it is not really worth staying there.

The service is okay but you have to be pretty patient until someone finally shows up at your table to take the order. All in all the perfect tourist spot – nothing more than that.

I started the blog in October 2009, while living in Milan which I definitely consider to be one of the food capitals of the world. I was in touch with food since my early childhood (as my father is a former chef). Whenever I can, I travel the world to discover new places, to meet people but mostly to try local dishes and to find hidden gems!
