2. November 2014: Restaurant La Mama

| January 11, 2015 | 0 Comments

A local had recommended me the Restaurant La Mama – and frankly speaking it was the perfect place after a hard night of partying but else I would not really recommend it. The “Beef Sour Soup (tender Black Angus beef boiled with vegetables and fresh borsch, house recipe)” (13 RON) was intense and did the trick to get sober but besides that was definitely nothing special.

The little extra of “whipped cream” one was supposed to add to the soup was interesting but not to my taste. The place itself is simple but generally nice – and astonishingly full for a Sunday.

The service is friendly but doesn’t speak any English really – respectively, is rather weak. However, they are friendly and try to help as good as they can. The atmosphere of the place is very simple – and what is frankly speaking a bit annoying is the fact that you are allowed to smoke in the restaurant which is – I think – absolutely gross. All in all, perfect hangover place.
