26. December 2014: Restaurant Chesa al Parc

| February 16, 2015 | 0 Comments

Although “The Most Wanted” (original classical beef hamburger with French fries, CHF 24.00) does not look too appealing it was okay. At least the meat patty with the bacon was definitely surprisingly fine. The French fries were seasoned with a nice customized mixture making them a bit above average. Overall, the hamburger was nothing special – especially for the price and the fact we are talking about St. Moritz. You definitely do not have to come here for the food.

The “Apple punch” (CHF 4.00) is as regular and good as in every other Swiss restaurant – naturally not made freshly but with some preprepared powder. The service, however, is swift and friendly. What is a bit confusing is that you get every order from a different waitress although you always order with the same one – but the system works. What is outstanding though about the Chesa al Parc is the view.

Especially when the sun goes down, the view is marvellous, the atmosphere breath-taking, just absolutely lovely! Overall, the Restaurant Chesa al Parc is perfect to sit outside, enjoy a punch (the hot beverage), and watch the sun go down while taking in the calmness and piece of the moment. Definitely not a place to go for the food though.
