2. February 2015: Masa 81 Café

| March 20, 2015 | 1 Comments

When you walk through the streets of Bogotá you sometimes randomly come across beautifull, stylish little cafés – and the Masa 81 Café is one of those. While the surroundings are definitely okay but nothing breath-taking, the café is designed in a very appealing way. The “Torta de Zanahoria” (6’300 COP) was surprisingly tasty. Although I was not really up for dessert it really tingled my taste buds.

The prices for the beverages (i.e. double espreso, 3’900 COP; “Jugo de Chicha de Patilla” (watermelon juice”), 6’000 COP) are reasonable and allow you to sit down for quite some time in a friendly atmosphere. But not only the atmosphere is friendly, so is the waitress.

The Masa 81 Café is the perfect place to make a short stop to have something to drink when you are on your way from Calle #93 to Calle #70 (you shouldn’t go much further by foot) as it is conveniently located in the middle, as the same says, at Calle #81.
