5. February 2015: Restaurant El Corral Gourmet

| March 28, 2015 | 0 Comments

I was told that the El Corral Gourmet is (or at least was) the best place for burgers in Colombia – despite the fact that the El Corral Gourmet is a restaurant chain. So I went for the “La Original” (15’200 COP) and asked for “additional cheese” (+ 2’300 COP). The burger was okay for a chain restaurant but frankly speaking I definitely have had better burgers before.

However, the “Smoothie Tropical (Mango, feijoa, maracuyá) light” (5’700 COP) and the “Jugo de Mandarina” (5’500 COP) were absolutely tasty fruit juices which I can recommend you to try. As this particular joint was located in a shopping mall the atmosphere was not really too outstanding. The service was really good though – they were giving their best and when you needed them they were there. Overall, it is fine to grab something quick in the El Corral Gourmet when you are shopping the whole day – else I would recommend you to go outside and get something else.
