13. February 2015: Restaurant La Chimenea @ Sheraton Bogotá
The breakfast selection at the Restaurnat La Chimenea was quite extensive ranging from fresh fruit and juices …
… to a selection of cereals …
… warm dishes like “arepas con queso”, “papa carré” and “salchicha” …
… fresh breads …
… muffins and toasts …
… as well as “pizza” and “pancakes” …
… not even the omelet station was massing …
… and last but not least you also had an extensive selection of cold cuts and cheeses so there was something for everyone. The restaurant itself is not that atmospheric but it is absolutely okay for a breakfast restaurant.
The service is friendly, attentive and does a good job – how you would want breakfast service to be.
Overall, it is absolutely recommendable to have breakfast at the Restaurant La Chimenea when you stay very close or even in the Sheraton hotel itself. Although the breakfast is good I would not come here just for the breakfast if I wasn’t in the vicinity of the hotel.
