15. February 2015: Sheraton Club Lounge @ Sheraton Airport Hotel Düsseldorf
Only when visiting the hotel this time, I realized that there is a Sheraton Club Lounge in the Sheraton Airport Düsseldorf Hotel. It is only open until 10pm which might explain which I have not realized that so far but now I finally managed to pay the lounge a visit. The selection of dishes and the like is pretty limited ranging from fresh bread and fruit …
… to a selection of gummies and cereal bars …
… but at least there are also a couple of salad like snacks you can enjoy in the evening.
The place itself is tiny but okay in atmosphere terms although there is a rather large TV screen so it is a bit noisy when you’re there but else it’s a fine lounge. The staff is very friendly and helpful – e.g. when the room key did not work to enter the lounge the staff let me in (as I did not want to walk up to the front desk again to get a new card). Overall, if you stay at the Sheraton in Düsseldorf, paying the lounge a visit is recommended.
