20. February 2015: Restaurant Capri
Sometimes nothing works out. This was one of these times. I ordered a “menu salad” (CHF 5.00) which was then forgotten and only my two colleagues got it. When I asked again for it, I got it but a solid 5 minutes after my colleagues had. While it was a menu salad, it was definitely nothing special and frankly in that case I consider CHF 5.00 a bit on the expensive side.
As a main, I ordered a “Pizza Diavola” (CHF 21.50) which I was really looking forward to. Unfortunately, the waiter kind of messed up and I got a completely other pizza at first. I complained and was brought the correct pizza. Again, approximately 8 minutes after my colleagues had received their lunch. At least the charged CHF 1.50 less, so ended up paying only CHF 20.00 instead of CHF 21.50 but frankly it is very annoying to always start to eat after your colleagues have almost finished.
At least the pizza was good. The atmosphere of the place is rather simple but okay and the prices for a lunch menu would be decent – if you’d get your food on time. After this experience, I must honestly say that I would not recommend you to have lunch here.
