5. April 2015: Tsarskoselsky Present Café @ Catherine Palace

| June 6, 2015 | 0 Comments

Given there is absolutely nothing close to the Catherine Palace in Pushkin I went for something traditionally Russian in the Café in the palace. Probably not really the place I’d choose if I have had a choice but given the circumstances they weren’t many other options left. The “pastry with cheese and meat” (300 RUB) was okay but way too dry.

The “Julienne” (250 RUB) looked kind of disgusting but was actually quite okay in taste. However, it is definitely not high-quality food and neither is the place (a regular café).

Overall, it is an okay place to eat something if you are about to starve, else I would not recommend you to eat here. The prices are fair for what you get, including the beverages (Perrier, 0,33L, 250 RUB), however, only if you’re starving you should go there.
