Not too long after an extensive lunch it was time for a small dinner. The selection of various dishes is quite extensive which does not make it easy to pick a course. However, we ended up having “assorted sashimi” (190 NOK) and “tempura starter” (135 NOK) and I must admit that the sashimi was absolutely mouth-watering delicious! There are moments when you think you have enough of it easily, but in this case I could have eaten all the raw fish there was if it was all in this quality! Even the scallops were absolutely great when eaten raw!

The kitchen is open and you can watch the chefs prepare the food – the tempura preparation was quite impressive! :)

The sashimi for a starter was actually that good I decided to go for a main course which was sashimi again, the “Sashimi Main Course” (345 NOK) and it was absolutely great. Despite the fact that it was the same to a large degree they added fatty tuna and beef which was both luscious – especially the fatty tuna!

The place is very full and you absolutely must book a table in advance as else you don’t stand a chance to get a place to sit down! The prices for the beverages are okay, i.e. 0,4L sparkling water for 48 NOK, a small can of “warm sake” 120 NOK.

The waiter does a good job – attentive, friendly, but a bit too jovial! I must admit, I was not entireyl satisfied with the service because, yes, it was good, and professional but it was also a bit too intrusive and one of the group (female) was continuously touched by him which is definitely not cool! However, besides that, the restaurant is lovely, the food is outstanding, and the prices are fair! Just don’t forget to book a table in advance!
