30. June 2015: Restaurant Seaside Hall @ Radisson Blu Seaside

| August 27, 2015 | 0 Comments

The Restaurant Seaside Hall already contains the description of the atmosphere in it – it’s pretty much a hall. The place is full, the tables are pretty close to each other so you feel like you are in a breakfast fabric. Really not too pleasant at all. However, for EUR 21.00 you get a decent breakfast, respectively the selection is large enough so you can “build your own decent breakfast”. The vegetables are okay …

… bread station which is located basically right at the entrance so there is always queueing time with incoming guests and there is just one place to cut bread so you have to stay in line to be able to do so (instead of putting up a second place where bread could be cut). Also, I get it is more economical but you have to take the butter from a butter box you get in the supermarket with a knife – generally, not a problem, but I kind of expect different from a hotel.

They had a lovely tea selection though where you were able to prepare your tea freshly which is something I have seldomly ever found in any hotel.

Overall, the breakfast is okay for what you pay at the Restaurant Seaside Hall but frankly speaking it just looks so completely unappealing it is a shame. It is really how I imagine one of these superbig hotels on Mallorca when you have hundreds of people coming for breakfast and basically raiding the breakfast hall. However, if you stay at the Radisson Blu Seaside and breakfast is included in the rate, it is okay to have breakfast here – else, I wouldn’t really recommend it.
