1. September 2015: Restaurant Yalla Habibi
Frankly, I would not have entered this premise if it wasn’t for a friend who dragged me along. Given he is quite a foodie, I thought I might give it a try. The place looks rather simple and really more like a food joint than anything else (I mean, it is a food joint …). The “lunch menu” (CHF 15.00 incl. a drink) was actually surprisingly good. While the French fries really do not look appealing and also don’t taste like much, the rest on othe plate is actually quite fine. You have different kinds of meats, hummus, vegetables. And while it is definitely not high-level cuisine the food is good and you can absolutely not complain for the price you pay.
Overall, the Restaurant Yalla Habibi is a good place for a quick lunch fix. Fair food, simple atmosphere, friendly service, low prices!
