23. October 2015: Restaurant Mama Kim

| January 2, 2016 | 0 Comments

It is quite some time ago since I’ve paid the Mama Kim a visit last time. And I remember the Korean food to be great. But given I always try something new, I went for “small sashimi served on radish salad” (EUR 7.50) and the sashimi was very delicious to start the lunch.

Next was the “Bulgogi Duck” (EUR 13.00) which was not entirely matching my expectations. I mean, the dish was absolutely okay but after the very delicious sashimi, the duck did not play up to it.

The place is quite okay and the service does generally a good job but forgot to bring my “ginger tea” (EUR 2.50) and only after having asked twice I finally got it. Overall, the Mama Kim offers a fair selection of good dishes for a fair price. The service is friendly but not entirely up to the task. However, for lunch it is recommended.
