15. November 2015: Felix Bar @ The Peninsula
The Felix Bar is located on the top floor of The Peninsula hotel and is definitely worth a visit and even more a must if one of your travel group’s companion’s name is “Felix”. The view from the top is great and – I usually don’t say that – but the view from the toilet is actually also quite nice! If you’re a man and get to use the man’s toilet, you can “pee onto the harbour” ;-)
However, the drinks are quite tasty – the “Paradise Punch (a tropical explosion of Havana 3 and Myers Rum, joined with the fresh flavours of lemon, lime, passion fruit, pineapple and pomegranate)” (138 HKD) was a lovely drink to enjoy and watching over the harbour.
And you are also served some small snacks. What you definitely realize is that the standards of service are very high here – which is lovely but obviously has its price.
Overall, the Felix Bar is a great place to have a couple of late night drinks. What I figured when being there: They also got a restaurant and I assume it would be quite nice to dine there – given the harbour view.
