17. July 2010: Restaurant allegretto
The restaurant Pizzeria allegretto is located right next to the landing place for ships in Überlingen and within walking distance from the ship docking station and the main station for trains of Überlingen. The restaurant is situated inside the “Haus Greth” which is some kind of cultural center with a cinema, stores and the like.
The restaurant has an outside patio which is right next to the shore of the Lake Constance which looks really nice and comfortable but was way to crowded which is why we decided to go inside and eat there. The interior is nicely designed in general.
The waiter didn’t seem to be too friendly at first but this changed as we realized that he was actually humorous but had a dry kind of being. So, he turned out to be quite funny and friendly.
I’ve ordered a Pizza Caprese because I’ve been told that the allegretto is famous for pizzas. The pizza looked okay as you were definitely able to see that it was handmade. The pizza actually also tasted quite good.
Once more, the prices are absolutely fair – paying around 6.50 EUR for a pizza is just about nothing. The Restaurant allegretto im Haus Greth is definitely worth going as the place is nice, the waiters are friendly, the food is good and the prices are absolutely cheap.
