14. December 2015: Restaurant hidden kitchen Park

| February 22, 2016 | 0 Comments

The hiddenkitchen is one of these healthy places – and quite a lovely one. They always offer a limited selection of various dishes you get to pick at the counter. This day they offered “lamb tajine with honey, saffron, ginger on couscous with parsley” (EUR 8.80) and a “daily soup” (EUR 3.90). While the portions look small at first you will actually have enough. The dishes are rich and flavourful and you taste that they are prepared freshly.

As the desserts looked quite appealing, I went for the “ginger gingerbread cake with a chocolate coating” (EUR 3.20) and a “double espresso” (EUR 3.80). While it looked quite appealing, the gingerbread cake was definitely too dry and the ginger fibers are still very much there which makes it a bit unpleasant to eat.

The display of the dishes is rather simple – basically there is a bunch of pots, some of them open, some not, which are behind a glass for you to pick.

The selection of salads, respetively sides you can find is a bit bigger and allows you to actually see what you are getting.

Overall, the Restaurant hidden kitchen Park is a good place to have a quick lunch. It is somehow from the concept more like a canteen but it has a positive vibe and atmosphere, the personnel is friendly, the dishes are good, and the prices are very fair.
