13. January 2016: Restaurant Santa Lucia
The “Insalata Pollo” (CHF 25.00) was what I expected. A decent salad with some chicken on top. And that is pretty much what you get. Nothing fancy, nothing bad – just a decent salad. The waiter was jovial, friendly, and swift, and managed to execute taken up orders rather quickly.
The atmosphere of the Santa Lucia is definitely nicer in the evenings than throughout the day as they manage to set up a nice atmosphere with an actual fireplace and a dimmed lights atmosphere. The prices are very fair for what you get – which is also true for the beverages (i.e. double espresso, CHF 5.40; 1L San Pellegrino, CHF 9.50).
The Santa Lucia serves as a good place to have a quick dinner and get good food for decent prices in a comfy atmosphere.
