21. July 2010: Restaurant Mövenpick Palavrion

| July 22, 2010 | 0 Comments

The Restaurant Mövenpick Palavrion is located within walking distance from the Zürich Paradeplatz and most easily reachable by tram (no. 6, 7, 8, or 13, stop “Stockerstrasse”). In its vicinity is the Carlton Bar, the Restaurant Churrasco, and the Restaurant Wagamama.

The Restaurant Mövenpick is situated perfectly central and offers some tables to sit outside. Those are not too recommendable though as they’re next to a street where there is quite some traffic. The inside on the other hand looks quite nice though. The tables are a bit small bit nicely arranged.

The menu to choose from is not too exhaustive but provides you with a nice selection of different tasty dishes. What the Palavrion offers in addition to the menu is a large salad buffet which has a good selection of salads and other things like meat or fried eggplants.

The waiter was friendly and quick, but he almost forgot to get my signature for the VISA bill. We’ve only had 30 minutes time and he managed to get us everything within the appropriate time range.

The prices are quite okay paying CHF 24.00 for a large plate and CHF 15.00 for a small plate to help yourself at the salad buffet considering the selection given.

The Restaurant Mövenpick Palavrion is a great place to go for a quick lunch. Furthermore, there is a Restaurant on the first floor too, it’s called the Palavrion Beef Club. I haven’t had the chance to try it out yet, but I’ve heard it must be delicious.
