23. January 2016: Executive Lounge @ Le Méridien Piccadilly

| March 15, 2016 | 0 Comments

The Executive Lounge at the Le Méridien Piccadilly is a bit unusual. Normally, you are in a separate area where you can’t see other people or they can’t see you. In this case, the lounge is placed on the Mezzanine and you can look down onto the reception seeing the entrance of the hotel – so actually, it is perfect for people watching!

The interior of the lounge is stylish as in most Le Méridien I have been to. However, the selection of food throughout the afternoon is rather limited …

… but at least you can sit down comfortably and have a cold or hot beverage …

You also get to have breakfast in the lounge which is accessible if you have booked a club room or are a SPG Platinum member. However, the breakfast selection in the lounge is rather limited ranging from cereals with milk, juices and some fruit …

… and boiled eggs and salmon.

Overall, it is fine as the breakfast is complimentary and if you just want to eat something small early in the morning (the lounge opens at 6:30am), it is perfect. However, if you want a proper breakfast for a hard day ahead, not so recommended.
