When you’re on the slopes and hunger hits: Restaurant Chamanna Naluns (6. March 2016)
It was one of these days when the weather was quite intense, the first snow of the year, or at least the first time there was enough snow so you could actually ski. And when you are on the slopes the whole morning going up and down over and over again there is that very moment when hunger hits you!
Obviously, the “selection” on the slopes in Scuol is limited – but the Restaurant Chamanna Naluns is actually a decent place. You get to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun (if you like) and while you are not served, you have to queue inside to get your food. There is another option, which I – unfortunately – realized too late, you can queue outside for spare ribs.
However, I went for the “plate of the day” which was “schnitzel with French fries” (CHF 21.50) and ketchup (+ CHF 0.50) with a tea (CHF 4.00). Well, let me say, the food does the trick. You get some energy to hit the slopes in the afternoon but fine food is definitely something else.
