Restaurant Brühl @ The Westin Leipzig (22. April 2016)

| June 20, 2016 | 0 Comments

The breakfast selection at the Restaurant Brühl definitely goes way beyond my expectations. I mean, it is some time ago since I have had breakfast at a Westin to be honest, still, I was not expecting such a rich selection. Ranging from various breads – and all of them labelled which I consider especially lovely – a fresh bee hive with honey …

… a tea station. Now, while the selection is obviously lovely and important, atmosphere and service are also important. And while the atmosphere is really not the best – more like a large American breakfast restaurant (okay, not really like that, it does have atmosphere (!) but just not that much) – the service is outstanding. When I entered the breakfast room, I was on the phone with my headsets and couldn’t answer the waitress at first when I went to pick a table. However, when I finally hung up and sat down, she approached me directly (I thought to ask for my room number to charge the breakfast) but she only wanted to know if I wanted something from the kitchen like an omelet which I gladly accepted.

When the service is that attentive and friendly, and the breakfast selection is large and actually the food is tasty, you really can’t complain about a not optimal atmosphere (and no, I am not talking about bad, I just think there are other ones with more atmosphere). So, if you stay at The Westin Leipzig, breakfast at the Restaurant Brühl is absolutely recommended!
