Decent executive lounge @ Sheraton Lisboa Hotel & Spa (6. May 2016)
The Sheraton Club Lounge offers all you need – but really nothing more. It is located on the 24th floor and you have a lovely view over the city which is perfect – even when the weather is very bad. Besides that, the lounge is comfortable, decent in size, and partially attended. However, with regards to the food selection it is rather limited, respectively the selection is fine but the availability is not satisfying as you have various times of the day when they only offer crackers and olives.
But when they offer e.g. dinner you get a small but nice selection of different things to try ranging from bacon-wrapped plums to meatballs …
… as well as a small assortment of cold cuts, salmon, and cheeses.
If you stay at the Sheraton and have SPG Platinum status, it is absolutely fine to stop by the lounge for a quick drink – if you do not have the status though and you are not randomly upgraded, I would not recommend you to pay the additional fee for a club level room to access the lounge. However, besides that, the hotel actually offers nice and comfortable rooms – so even though the Sheraton is not located super centrally, it is quite convenient in terms of comfort.
