Somewhat cool bar with an club in the cellar: HRD Bar (13. May 2016)
I am not entirely sure of what to think of this place – I was somewhat positively surprised. You enter at ground level and there is a very small bar, which was not very full despite it being the peak hour (or maybe slightly after) around 2am. The bartender is friendly, serves you a “Vodka Lemon” (EUR 9.00) in no time and it is actually quite decent. What really surprised me though is the fact that there is something like a small club downstairs – lovely really but very small.
The music is actually quite good which was a bit surprising – especially as the “club” part of the HRD bar was almost empty. However, if you are into decent drinks in a good atmosphere with the extra spark of having the possibility to go “quickly clubbing” at any time, the HRD is the perfect place.
