Lovely wine bar: Lutter & Wegner Gendarmenmarkt (20. May 2016)
The Lutter & Wegner wine bar is located basically right across the street of my office – and I never saw this place until this day. And it is actually quite nice – the interior is very traditional (it actually doesn’t look as new in real life as it does in the picture below) but it is very nice. Despite the late hour, the waiter was friendly – but not the quickest really.
However, once he had taken our initial order, things sped up a bit and the 0,75L Valser (EUR 7.50) and the 0,2L Rosso di Montepulciano (EUR 10.00) arrived in no time. Given more and more guests were leaving due to the late hour, the waiter became a bit swifter. Overall, you get to sit down in a very nice atmosphere to enjoy your glass of wine – recommended to pay a visit.
