Great roof-top bar: heaven’s nest (18. June 2016)
When you are in Hamburg you definitely have to pay a visit to Reeperbahn – the place where ropes were made originally and now is basically an entertainment and red light district. Well, there is not only that there but also places like the “heaven’s nest” which is a roof top bar with a great view over Hamburg. And the perfect place to have an aperitivo before dining at the CLOUDS just one floor below.
I went for the “Raspberry Mule” (EUR 11.50) which was very fruity but also absolutely delicious. If you managed to get a table at the windows it is not only very comfortable but you have a great view onto Hamburg.
What was a bit annoying though was the speed of the service – so it basically took ages until we received our drinks. Not that the waiter was unfriendly or anything, not at all. But it just took sooooo much time until we received them. Well, however, the drinks are good, the place is stylish, the view is amazing, and the prices are okay.
