Perfect business lunch within 15 minutes: Restaurant Loft Five (4. July 2016)
Given the proximity to my current place of work, the Loft Five is somewhat ideal distance-wise. But not only due to that but also because they have understood something perfectly – when you are working and are stuck the whole day in meetings, there is not too much time you can spend for lunch, so the 15 minutes lunch is the perfect solution to that. Today, the 15 minutes lunch was a “cold pea soup, pork bratwurst with hash browns, and salad” (CHF 28.00). While the salad and sausage are rather standard, the cold pea soup was actually great.
The service was swift and friendly – only when it came to paying the bill, there is definitely room for improvement because somehow they never bring the machine to pay by card with them directly – which is somewhat inconvenient as you have to ask them to bring it which takes yet up another 5 – 10 minutes. Else, as always, recommended for lunch.
