Perfect arrival spot: Paul and Shark Café (16. July 2016)

| August 31, 2016 | 0 Comments

My arrival on the island was lovely as the first thing I did was to sit down at the café right next to the port and enjoy a so called “Espresso Freddo”. Now, I was absolutely unaware that coffee is quite a big thing in Greece. It comes in all different types and forms – and funnily enough, it is mostly consumed cold (or iced).

I went for “Brioche with ham” and “brioche with cheese” and well – it was not really “brioches” if you ask me but it was the perfect dish to start. The sandwiches were absolutely acceptable – but also not more than that.

The Café itself offers a rather limited selection of dishes but is located absolutely perfectly at the entrance of the harbour so it is more than ideal for people watching. The service is swift and friendly.

So, if you are either waiting to catch the ferry or then needing something to eat or drink desperately after the ferry ride, I would absolutely recommend you to have a quick stop here.
