Huge Italian portions: Restaurant Eatalico (22. July 2016)

| September 12, 2016 | 0 Comments

Used to Zurich portions and prices, I was expecting a rather small “tomato cream soup” for EUR 4.80 and picked it as a starter. However, it actually ended up being an incredibly large portion which would be absolutely enough for lunch – definitely not a “starter portion” but much more an actual full meal.

While being already more or less satisfied with the soup, the actual main dish was served thereafter. The “Pizza Diavolo (tomato sauce, cheese, spicy salami, pepperoncini)” (EUR 9.00) with additional anchovies is incredibly huge! And the pizza is absolutely delicious – but definitely way too big.

The service is friendly and surprisingly quick – especially given we were a group of approx. 15 people. And everyone got their main within approximately 3 minutes which I consider quite impressive (given how many times I have experienced that restaurants actually do not manage to time it well). And the prices are ridiculously low for what you get – in terms of taste and amount!
