Lovely Café with a decent food selection: Café Ansari (22. July 2016)

| September 14, 2016 | 0 Comments

The “fried chicken filet on okra shells and sour cherries in tamarind jus with saffron cauliflower and black sticky rice” (EUR 15.80). The combination of the sticky black rice with the sour sweetness of the cherries created an interesting combination of flavors and texture – sweetness, liquid, solid, sticky, chewy, sour.

The interior of the Café Ansari is spacious and light-flooded making it very comfortable. And when you get to sit near a window you can watch the people strolling by. The service is friendly and attentive and your drinks are brought to your table within minutes.

Overall, I was positively surprised by the Café Ansari as the dishes were way more creative than expected, the atmosphere was lovely, the prices are decent and the service was good. If you want to sit outside, I would recommend you to book a table in advance.
