… more cheese and fruit. What I missed a bit was a juice selection. True, you get orange juice upon request, respectively are offered a glass when seated – however, I like my fruit juices quite a bit and, therefore, I was not entirely satisfied.

I asked for an omelet with ham an cheese and some bacon – which was delivered relatively promptly to my table. And I must say that the omelet was incredibly smooth and the bacon nicely crispy. However, when I got the bacon I was expecting a bit more than just one stripe …

The breakfast room is lovely in its design – it does have the touch of an old Grand hotel and you do feel like it. In general, the Fürstenhof is a lovely place definitely worth staying at when you are in Leipzig. What was outstanding though was really the service – Ms. Zahn (or something like that) was incredibly attentive, always having a smile on her face, very friendly, just lovely. You could really see how she enjoys her job! Big plus!
