Simple but lovely: Restaurant Ulrich (8. September 2016)
While not located very centrally, the Restaurant Ulrich is in walking distance of the Ring and, therefore, relatively easily accessible. The waitress was at our table within minutes and the order of the beverages (Vöslauer Mineral, 0,75L, sparkling, EUR 4.70 and a glass of Gelber Muskateller, 1/8L, EUR 5.50) was executed almost immediately.
I went for something light to eat, the “Crispy Avocado Quinoa – with chick peas, mint, and cherry tomatoes” (EUR 4.50). While it did not look too appealing as it was just one big bulk of “something”, I liked the dish in terms of taste. A nice combination of creamy, of crispy.
There is a nice little area outside with high chairs so you would be able to enjoy to sit outside and to relax. While it was not especially crowded around 10pm, it was still quite full, so I imagine it would make sense to book a table in advance if you come earlier in the evening.
