Lovely quick lunch: Restaurant Porzellan (9. September 2016)
The lunch offer at the Restaurant Porzellan is simple but you get an amazing performance for the price. Today, they offered “parsley cream soup” as a starter – which was rich in parsley flavour (surprise, surprise!). Secondly, the portion was also quite large.
The main course was a “hake filet with colourful artichoke, bell pepper, basil vegetable mix” (EUR 8.90). The fish was juicy but needed some salt while the vegetables were not only rich in flavour but also well seasoned.
The waitress was friendly and attentive but the waiter who brought the plates was unfriendly. When I said thanks after him putting down the plates on the table, he just bluntly ignored our comment. I mean, come on, just saying “you’re welcome would have done the trick” but like that it is not entirely satisfying to have lunch here. However, the outside seating area is quite nice and you get to relax over lunch – luckily, the bill was brought to our table rather quickly upon request.
