Sad little restaurant with inattentive waiter: Restaurant Le Rendez-Vous (14. October 2016)
Admittedly, we were just looking for a place to have a drink which looked decent before going to RIJKS. And while the interior was actually absolutely decent, it was kind of a sad view as the place was completely empty and there were no other guests than us. Despite that, the service did not really live up to the expectations. We pre-ordered a gin & tonic for a friend who would join in 15 minutes (and told the waitress accordingly). While she nodded and agreed to bring it, she actually ended up doing no such thing but just waiting there and talking to the chef ignoring us waving at her instead of bringing the gin & tonic.
Overall, fine for a quick beer – but nothing I would recommend you to visit although, I must admit, the smells from the kitchen were not all that bad.
