Decent breakfast: Palm Garden Restaurant @ Sheraton Jumeirah Beach Resort (27. October 2016)
The Sheraton Jumeirah Beach is pretty straight forward when it comes to closing down the breakfast buffet. So when I tried to get some breakfast at 10:50am in the Sheraton Club Lounge, all the dishes were already gone. However, the Palm Garden Restaurant on the ground floor still had some food left. Not much really but enough to fill your plate at least once. The selection is decent as it ranges from fresh fruit …
… to different kinds of yogurts and milk drinks …
… fruit juices …
… cereals, dried fruit, and nuts …
… regular warm dishes like eggs …
… jams and breads …
… fish, cheeses, and fresh salad …
… and more cold cuts …
… a variety of breads …
… some tea sorts …
… and in the very furthest corner, pork. As pork is forbidden under Islamic law it is very separated in a far corner and the selection is rather limited but at least they adapt a bit to the Western habits.
The restaurant itself is rather unspectacular and not really too appealing but given there are not many other options for breakfast really, you are stuck with the Palm Garden Restaurant. The service is not really what I would expect from a Starwood hotel. I mean, they are friendly but not really service oriented.
