An outstanding food experience in the Copenhagen Street Food Hall (19. March 2017)
I am very fond of my memory of ‘Copenhagen Street Food’ aka Papirøen – the last time I was here, it was an absolutely lovely experience with great food. The place is basically one big hall with a lot of different food offerings. And you find everything from meat to vegetarian to pizza to sweets to coffee. Definitely truly lovely to spend your day here!
This time, I went for the ‘pulled duck’ booth and ordered “Duck & Chips” (85 DKK) which was absolutely luscious!
And the Pepsi (25 DKK) went very well with it! The meat is tender, the sauce is yummy, the shallots do their part and the potatoes served with vinegar are actually way better than I would ever have expected!
And what is great besides the big selection, the relatively decent prices, and the good food is the fact that they also have areas where you can sit down and enjoy your food. You have to be a bit patient – admittedly – but if you are, it definitely pays off that you have had the patient to wait and you can sit down and indulge in your street food! From my perspective, definitely a must visit when you are in Copenhagen!
