Only in France – a place that only sells foie gras: Foie Gras @ Les Halles De Lyon (Paul Bocuse) (25. March 2017)
I have seen a lot of different things when it comes to food and places to eat at – there is still a lot to go, rest assured. However, a store which is fully specialized in ‘foie gras’ and sells nothing but that (with a very few exceptions) is something you can only find in France. I decided to have a “Foie Gras Panini” (EUR 1.80) and a “Foie Gras Créme Brûlée” (EUR 2.50). The panini was delicious, intense and the créme brûlée was lovely too given it was very smooth but on the other hand it is also quite intense so a whole créme brûlée is somewhat a lot.
I was completely astonished to find such a shop …
… offering foie gras in all different forms and colours …
… as well as ways it is prepared …
… so you will definitely find something you like – that is, if you like foie gras in the first place.
So, when you visit Les Halles de Lyon (Paul Bocuse), you definitely have to walk up and down the isles to find the interesting restaurants and shops offering such things as just described. When you’re in Lyon you definitely have to visit Les Halles de Lyon, as it is a foodie paradise offering all good (French) things.
