Perfect to hide from rain but not recommended: Café Bar de la Ficelle (25. March 2017)

| May 25, 2017 | 0 Comments

When it started raining we entered the first café there was and ended up at the Café Bar de la Ficelle – well, I guess else we wouldn’t have entered but given the rain, it seemed like the right option. The place was crammed and for more than 10 minutes we were not attended. After I had asked very directly if we could place an order, the waitress first asked if the waiter hadn’t taken our order. As he hadn’t – obviously – she took up the order and within a few minutes we had received the ordered “Cherry Tea” (EUR 3.50) and the 1L San Pellegrino (EUR 6.00).

The bar itself is extremely simple and – frankly speaking – not really appealing. So, if you must flee the rain, then it is probably a good idea to come here – else, I wouldn’t recommend it. The service does a lot but does not seem to care. I mean, it was ‘professionally speaking’ swift, things were executed but it seems like they lack all passion. So, to sum it up – good to hide and warm up, else, not so good.
