A surprisingly great vegetarian brunch buffet: Restaurant Jen Dow Vegetarian Buffet (4. June 2017)
Frankly, when I entered the place I wasn’t aware that the offering was purely vegetarian at first – given a lot of stuff was fried and described in a way so you would not be sure what exactly you’re having. While I then only figured later that the selection was purely vegetarian, I must say I was positively surprised as you would kind of have everything ranging from various desserts …
… to various types of salad …
… and more salads …
… fruit …
… small plates of some other stuff …
… vegetables and pizza …
… greens …
… and a variety of hot meals …
… and more of those …
… and even more …
… and more …
… and more …
… and even a chocolate fountain. I think the first one in my life I’ve seen in action and not in pictures.
Besides that there is a huge variety of different dumplings from savoury to sweet – really everything you could potentially want – but meat!
You get a huge selection of tasty dishes so everyone having breakfast there would be satisfied – the place itself is not too pretty in terms of atmosphere but it is functional as it hosts many people ready to empty the buffet. The service is friendly and dedicated but given it is a buffet they are only there to take off your empty plates and sometimes that takes quite some time. All in all, I was quite positively surprised about the experience – especially given there was only vegetarian options available.
